Optimus Alive: 6 - 9 July
Watch the performances of Coldplay, Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance, 30 Seconds to mars and The Chemical Brothers in a great event that combines music and art! These are some of the leading names of national and international music, who will perform on the various stages over this four-day festival.
Alive! already established itself as one of the year’s best festivals in 2007 when took place its first edition. Further than music, Optimus Alive! includes the distinctive feature of a space dedicated to urban art, where new fine artists create works using recycled materials.
Against the backdrop of the Algés Maritime Promenade, in front of the River Tagus, the Optimus Alive! has a prime location for those who want to enjoy all night through , since it is also next to the train station that connects Algés directly to the bar and discos areas of Lisbon and Estoril coast.
Super Bock Super Rock: 14 - 16 July
In July at Meco, don’t miss the performances of Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes and Portishead, among other famous bands.
Under the motto "Meco, Sun and Rock n’ Roll”, Super Bock Super Rock Festival celebrates its 17th birthday at the Herdade do Cabeço da Flauta, near Meco Beach at Sesimbra. This beautiful place, surrounded by pine trees and next to the sea, houses three different stages – Super Bock stage for the major bands, EDP Stage for alternative groups and @Meco for electronic music.

FMM Sines - World Music Festival: 22-30 July
FMM Sines – Festival Músicas do Mundo is a music festival held every July in Sines, Alentejo, Portugal.
Organised by the local City Council, it’s a public service, non-commercial, event designed for an audience of music discoverers, who come to Sines for the quality of the programme, the spectacular venues and a spirit regarded as unique among Portugal’s summer festivals.
It is the biggest world music event in the country.
Sudoeste TMN: 3 - 7 August
In August go to the southwest of Alentejo and feel the good vibrations of Amy Winehouse, Scissor Sisters, Swedish House Mafia and Underworld music!
These are only some of the bands that will perform at Festival Sudoeste TMN, but to know all that will happen during the five days of the event, take a look at its official website.
As always, the party takes place at Zambujeira do Mar, a fishing town on the Alentejo coast famous for its beautiful beaches and mild temperatures. Those who acquire the festival pass have access to free camping, which means a vacation week for a very nice price!
Paredes de Coura: 17 -20 August
In August, the 19th Paredes de Coura Festival features Crystal Castles, Pulp, Deer Hunter, Two Door Cinema Club and many more… Don’t miss!
These are some of the bands playing mainly alternative rock, that during the four days of the Festival, will perform in a natural amphitheatre at the river beach of Tabuão, offering always a party atmosphere in this beautiful landscape.
