Although based in

Castlebar, Mayo County Council services the entire county through a series of Area Offices located in nine towns across the county.

The County Council is responsible for providing a number of services to the county, including protecting the environment, fire protection, agricultural services, planning, road maintenance, enhancing the cultural and artistic life of the community, tax collection and licensing and maintaining refuse infrastructure.

WESTBIC is the official EC Business & Innovation Centre in the Border, Midland & Western region of Ireland providing tailored support to innovative enterprise through the initial stages, from concept to commercialisation. Established in 1987, WESTBIC is a specialist provider in the Government’s portfolio of supports to indigenous industry, supported under the National Development Plan.

WESTBIC has considerable cross-sector experience at the start-up and early stage development of value added enterprise.

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David came into existence through the merger of Trinity University College and the University of Wales Lampeter, with campuses in Carmarthen and Lampeter. The University was formed to serve the needs of communities in South West Wales within an international context.

Technopole Quimper-Cornouaille (RETIS and EBN member) aims at strengthening economical development through technology and innovation in the western part of Brittany. It supports creation of new businesses, technology transfers, individual and collaborative innovative projects, and organizes networking events between economical actors.

ADIST is a private non-profit organization created in 1984 and it is runned by  IST – Instituto Superior Técnico. ADIST is an association that historically has managed numerous projects of national and international level in the ​​research and development area in various fields of engineering and architecture.

EUROCEI was, in 1989, the first European Business and Innovation Centre created in Andalusia (Spain) by the European Commision and EBN.
Our mission implies: integral counselling and support to innovative business projects, to serve as Regional Development tool for business upgrading and to enhance Andalusian competitiveness applying cluster methodologies, and be part of the Andalusian Knowledge System on Technology Transfer and Innovation Management for Andalusian SMEs.
